Lots of people do gratitude challenges and fitness challenges but what about a love challenge?
The goal of this is to bring more love into your life. Do you love your job? Your home? Your body? Your friends? Your hobbies? If you said yes to all of these questions then awesome! You can still do this challenge for an extra boost. If you said no to even one question, you could probably do with a little more love in your life.
Look for three things that you love right now.
First of all, what is the definition of love? According to Merriam-Webster, love is a “warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion.” Basically anything that gives you that warm fuzzy feeling, makes you excited or makes you feel like you need or want more.
We all have some things that we know we love off the top of our heads. Like, I love the color purple, it makes me happy. I love to get lost in a good book. And I love delicious food. But now, I’m going to find three things that I love in this moment.
As I sit down at my computer, drinking my morning coffee and procrastinating on getting ready for work, I do see things I love.
I love my coffee cup that says “Good morning beautiful”, I love that my bookshelf is finally full and I’ll be needing a second one soon, and I love that I was able to have a peaceful and relaxing morning.
Do this whenever you need a little extra love in your life or just want to feel good. You can do it once a day or multiple times a day, it’s up to you. Can you do it at least once a day for a whole month? Are you up to the challenge?
